As we gear up to reveal the next round of exciting plans for Hadean’s future, we wanted to briefly stop and share something from our recent past.
We were invited to talk on the big stage at devcom, the game developer event that takes place shortly before Gamescom kicks off in Cologne.
We happily accepted and took the opportunity to talk about the original EVE Aether Wars, our groundbreaking tech demo which saw 14,274 ships battling each other on a single shard.
The immense success of EVE Aether Wars sparked a lot of interest in our Aether Engine tech, specifically about how we addressed the technological challenges inherent in large-scale multiplayer experiences. devcom gave us an hour to explore some of the answers to those questions and we’re delighted to be able to share the presentation with you.
